9005 HB3 Bulb Installation Tutorial
Tools Needed:
Gloves or a clean cloth (to handle the bulbs safely)Flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool (for removing any covers or housing, if necessary)
New 9005 HB3 LED bulbs
Step-by-Step Installation
Open the hood to access the back of the headlight assembly.
Gently pull the bulb out of the housing, then disconnect the wiring harness by pressing the release tab and pulling the connector away from the bulb.
Insert the LED bulb into the headlight housing and twist it clockwise to lock it in place. Make sure the bulb is fully seated and secure in the socket.
If the bulbs don’t turn on, try flipping the connector 180 degrees and reconnecting it, as some LED bulbs are polarity sensitive.
Points to Pay Attention To
Polarity Sensitivity: LED bulbs are often polarity sensitive, meaning they need to be installed in the correct orientation. If the bulbs don’t light up, reverse the polarity by flipping the plug and reconnecting.
Secure Fitting: Ensure the new LED bulbs are fully locked into place and don’t wobble, as improper installation can lead to poor beam performance or damage to the bulbs.
