Tools Needed:
Gloves or a clean cloth (to prevent oils from your hands contaminating the bulb)Flathead screwdriver (for accessing any covers or housing)
New 9007 HB5 LED bulbs
Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Step 1: Prepare the Vehicle:Park your vehicle on a flat surface, turn off the engine, and allow the headlights to cool down if they were recently used. Open the hood and locate the headlight assembly where the 9007 HB5 halogen bulbs are installed.
Step 2: Access the Headlight Assembly:
Depending on the make and model of your vehicle, you may need to remove a dust cover or protective housing to access the back of the headlight assembly. Use a flathead screwdriver if needed to gently pry off any clips or covers.
Twist the bulb counterclockwise to remove it from the headlight housing.
Insert the LED bulb into the headlight socket, aligning it properly with the housing. Twist the bulb clockwise to lock it into place.
If the bulbs don’t turn on, reverse the polarity by flipping the plug and reconnecting it, as some LED bulbs are polarity sensitive.
Ensure all parts are securely in place before closing the hood.
Points to Pay Attention To
Polarity Sensitivity: LED bulbs, including 9007 HB5 LED bulbs, may be polarity sensitive, meaning they will only work if installed in the correct direction. If the bulb doesn’t light up, flip the connector and try again.
Secure Fit: Make sure the bulb is fully seated and locked into place to prevent vibrations or misalignment while driving.
